Absent™ is a relatively new app. We are striving to make our name known to the millions of people absent from loved ones. We aim to be the leading platform in helping to reunite people from all over the world.
We feel that absence is an extremely delicate situation, and therefore deserves it's own platform away from social media. Social media is not appropriate. Social media posts are open to manipulation, especially in cases of parental alienation or other circumstances of forced absence. They are included in other posts which can dilute the seriousness and sincerity. By forcing posts onto your absent loved ones you may come across too strong, put too much pressure on them and in fact, do more harm than good. With Absent™ you aren't approaching anyone directly, you are putting yourself out there for them to come to you. By continually updating your timeline you will overcome potential obstacles in your path by breaking down barriers leading to what you ultimately want to be heard... the truth.
We at Absent™ are dedicated to provide a platform for genuine people to find justice. Millions of people are suffering daily with the trauma of ambiguous loss and we are here to help.
